Mobile game is a nutty scramble

The squirrels in my neighborhood are busy collecting and storing nuts for their winter hibernation. I wonder if their work is organized like a military campaign.

That’s the premise behind Go Nuts Blast, a mobile game that challenges you to quickly collect, sort and organize the steady cascade of different nuts falling from the sky.

The game currently has three modes with more to be added later. Newbies can start in Soldier Mode and learn to act faster to earn a promotion. Players in Officer Mode see more nuts and more types of nuts to deal with. Blitz Mode moves at a pace that the name suggests.

The game is available for free. There’s an iOS version for iPhones and iPads in the iTunes App Store and a version for Android devices in the Google Play Store.
