According to one report, more than 52 percent of worldwide website traffic in 2018 came from mobile phones. That's up from less than 44 present just two years earlier.
With mobile apps contributing a substantial amount of that traffic, it's little wider that businesses and organizations that were content to provide a simple website just a few years ago are now expanding to offer a dedicated mobile app.
