Camtaker is a website that lets you easily shoot a still photo or video using a camera connected to your computer. That might be one built into the bezel around your monitor, or one that is attached through a USB port.
Depending on your computer and operating system, Camtaker may ask for permission to access your camera and microphone. Once it has access, the camera image appears in a large window in the center of your screen.
Click the Snapshot button and the results appear below the camera window along with a link to download and save the image. You can keep keep shooting until you have an image that you want to keep.
There is no charge and no registration required to use Camtaker.
