Shadow Sniper tests your skills and marksmanship

One of my favorite segments in the Call of Duty game series is the sniper. You find a high hide, set up with a field of fire and wait for your targets to appear. Success requires a sharp eye, a steady hand and an abundance of patience.

Shadow Sniper from Toplight Gaming brings some of the same challenges to the iOS platform. As the title indicates, this sniper and his prey work in the shadows where targets will often be dark and distant and often on the move.

The Shadow Sniper confronts a succession of large and small targets, from humans to tanks, aircraft and even buildings. Each level presents new challenges - like shooting from a moving platform - along with new rewards.

The game is rated 9+ for mild cartoon violence. It’s available as a free download in the iTunes App Store.
