Script lets website users build and share memes and comics

Where do all those memes come from? You know, the digital posters with humorous text people frequently post and share on Facebook and other social media.

Many of them are the product of meme generating tools like MeMe Software. It’s an inexpensive PHP script that users can install on their website to give readers a clever way to express and share their smart-mouthed opinions.

The MeMe Software package gives users a collection of paint tools, and more than 300 meme and troll faces that users can deploy to make memes or rage comics without worrying about running afoul of the copyright police.

Other features include include a webmaster administration panel, watermarked images, AdSense options and analytics code. Users who create memes can quickly share them online and collect votes by viewers.
