LED lamp is efficient and flexible

I’m on a campaign to replace all the old incandescent and fluorescent bulbs in our house with LEDs. It seems like an obvious move. LEDs not only draw less energy, they also give off almost no heat and produce a clean, bright light.

My next target are the reading lights on our bedside tables and I have my eye on a model called the East Sky Moonlight lamp sold by TVC-Mall.

The lamp has a thin, modern design with touch controls in its base and a flexible elbow that lets it be adjusted to the best angle for reading or for close-up work. The base can even make a 25-degree hook so it could be looped over the back o f the bed or a wall. It also produces a softer light than incandescent bulbs making it easier on your eyes.

The lamp has a built-in battery that runs for up to 30 hours and is charged with a USB cable. That makes it handy for areas like ours where storms will sometimes knock out the electric power.
