Zomfy's free cloud welcomes large files

7/20/2015

Do you remember “SneakerNet?” It was the file-sharing solution we used back in the day before the Internet. We copied files to a floppy disk, then personally delivered it to its destination. If the files had to arrive quickly, we wore sneakers.

Today, we share files in the cloud where they arrive in a flash and are always available. Zomfy is a new and free file-sharing service that lets users upload files as large as 5GB. That’s enough space for a video file or large presentation.

Zomfy also offers users the option of adding password protection to their files for increased security.

You can sign up to start using the service at the Zomfy website where you can click on the settings icon to read the Zomfy’s Terms of Service. Zomfy is also on Twitter @zomfyit.
