Yehuda Leibler has an idea to make travel in Israel more interesting and rewarding for both tourists and locals. The 15-year-old Israeli designer, developer and student wants to create a mobile app that would tell you about historical events that occurred near your location.
The app he intends to build will be called MyMakom and he’s raising money now at Indiegogo to to get the project rolling.
Here’s how he explains his plan: “We are creating an Application that will provide important information based on your real time location. We are combining this with a savvy social angle, and with that diverse connection between the modern social platforms and the amazing history from the past.”
Leibler’s goal is $3,000. Backers who contribute $50 will get a thank-you email. Supporters who pledge more will get a certificate.
You can get the full story at Indiegogo and learn more about Leibler @yleibler on Twitter and Facebook.
