Verizon finds out how much we love our tech

How important is technology to our daily lives? That's the question Verizon Wireless sought to answe when it asked survey participants questions like these:

What's the tech that you can't live without?
What technology would you give up first?
What would you give up last?

I wasn't surprised to see that 43.5% said they couldn't live without online transactions and purchasing. But I was surprised to see how highly we value wireless printing at work.

And, what would they give up first? Home automation (45%), Fitness accessories (44%) and Wireless headsets (42%).

And what technology are we especially eager to see arrive? More than two-thirds can't wait for batteries that don't die. And who could argue with that?
