Chinavision's waterproof camera matches features with you know who

Each year when I go to the consumer electronics show in Las Vegas I make a point of browsing the booths and displays from Chinese manufacturers and distributors. That’s where I know I’ll see both new gadgets and less expensive versions of products that are popular in the US.

Now I’m seeing the same kind of innovations on display at Chinavasion, the website for a Hong Kong-based company that sells selected Chinese electronics and gadgets to consumers and merchants.

A good example of products for is the Flash X Waterproof Action Camera. It has the same design and specs as the waterproof action camera that everyone has heard of - 1080p resolution at 60fps, WiFi and a 2-inch screen with a mounting bracket and wrist-strap remote control. Like the camera when it's sin its waterproof case, the wrist controller is also waterproof, making it ideal for diving, skiing or just fun at the beach.

A more well-known action camera goes for about $300. Chinavasion sells the Flash X for $97.99, less if you’re buying three or more. You can see more gadgets at the Chinavasion website and keep up with the company @chinavasion on Twitter.
