LingosMio app teaches conversational Spanish

Ask me how much Spanish I learned after three weeks of listening to language lessons on CDs and you could probably guess the answer: un poco.

Next time I plan a trip south of the border, I'm going to try LingosMio, a new Android app that promises a smoother route to learning a new language.

The app delivers interactive courses that focuses on the languages as a whole rather than concentrating on a collection of phrases. I remember  ¿Dónde está el baño?  but that doesn't mean I can carry on a conversation.

Lingosmio says the most important thing in their courses is developing conversational skills and the actual use of the language. "The courses have a great focus on speaking and listening skills which is not something you find in other language programs."
