ItsPoppingHere! knows what's happening right now

A wine bar near our house has a small stage that often features some surprisingly talented musicians. When I catch an act that I like, I think about telling my friends, or anyone really, that they should come hear these people right here and right now.

That's the kind of moment that ItsPoppingHere! was built for. It's an app that posts and distributes notices and reviews on stuff that's happening right now, right here.

That might be the club where Prince shows up for an after-hours jam with the house band. Or it could be the chef's seafood special at a favorite restaurant. Probably not my karaoke rendition of "Margaritaville," but I might be tempted slip that in.

ItsPoppingHere! says it only displays reviews of events or activities from the past 8 hours, so the tips are always fresh and carry a time stamp. You won't have to shower and dress up for something that ended yesterday.

Reviews can be enhanced with photos and spread more widely by sharing on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.
