Quiz game tests your New York IQ

The average New Yorker could probably tell you who’s buried in Grant’s Tomb, but they probably don’t know who designed the Statue of Liberty or when the Brooklyn Bridge was built.

The answers to those questions and 498 more are contained in 500 Facts New York, a fast-paced quiz game for Android devices.

The quiz touches on the major landmarks of the city, like Central Park and the Bronx Zoo, and also digs into the history of the city and the people who built it. Players can try to beat a countdown clock and they can request a hint if they get stumped.

The app is available as a free download in the Google Play Store.
