How to remove yessearches adware

How does malware and adware get on your computer? All too often it arrives at the user’s invitation. That’s usually the case with, a program that hijacks the search engine option on a Windows PC and replaces Google or Bing with it’s own search software.

The offending code is typically included in a bundle of programs that come with free downloads of   legitimate programs. Users who choose an automatic installation option or don’t pay close attention to the installation process can end up with software that they didn’t ask for and don’t want.

And can be difficult to remove. You can’t just click to your program list and tell Windows to uninstall it and it’s not targeted by most programs that screen for viruses and malicious ads.

The folks at MySpybot have created a simple walk-through that explains how to remove find the .exe file that runs the yessearches adware and how to remove yessearches from Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers. The article explains how, what to look for and the steps needed to banish it.
