Monster makes a boombox for working folks

1/07/2016

Monster, the company known for high-end headphones, is reviving the boombox, and not just for street corner serenades. The model on the right is a rugged version made for work crews that might work harder if the music is rocking’.

The box plays audio streamed by Bluetooth from a mobile phone. There’s no cassette tape play or radio tuner, but it does have an audio input jack for an MP3 player or microphone. The light on the side is a snap-on option.

The heavy-duty player is slated to be available early this year for about $400.
