Theme turns WordPress blog into a video site

12/09/2015

In case you haven’t noticed, the Web is evolving into a world of video, especially when it comes to the younger generation. One recent report said 75 percent of of users age 18-29 watch videos on their phones.

That may be why Verizon has shown interest in acquiring Yahoo’s video business and why bloggers and web publishers are embracing video with increasing enthusiasm.

WordPress users who want to go all in with video should check out the VideoBoard theme which can turn any WordPress installation into a full-featured video site.

The theme includes multiple designs that works on all platforms and can be customized with color and layout options. The site can be populated with videos imported from YouTube or Vimeo and members can upload their own videos using a template and a process that automatically generates thumbnails.

Site managers can set up prices for different membership levels and use a banner management feature to control site advertising.

The theme has a one-time fee of $45 and owners can use a single site license to create multiple sites. For more details, check out the Features page and the live demo on the VideoBoard website.
