AxisRooms streamlines hotel marketing and booking

5/16/2015

Hotel operators know that the Internet can be a blessing and a curse. Hotel rooms and special rates can be marketed through dozens or even hundreds of websites.

On one hand, that’s a great opportunity to reach a vast global market and millions of potential customers. On the other hand, it means a lot more work for the hotel managers. How do you keep track of all those different listings and prices?

That’s the problem that AxisRooms tackles with it’s new product called HotelXchange or HeX. It’s designed to be a single platform that lets hotel and hotel chains manage their inventory through a single tool.

With HeX, hotels can manage contracts, inventory and reservations. In addition to the popular web services like  Expedia and Hotwire, HeX also connects to offline marketing sources like travel agents, tour operators and corporate travel departments through a single dashboard.

Pricing for the company’s booking engine and channel manager starts at $60 a month, which should make it attractive to even small hotel operators.
