Scholar Geek links students with study programs and money

3/10/2015

How many colleges and universities are there? More than 4,000 and thousands more around the world. And, how many scholarship programs out there? Thousands more.

So, how could you possibly find the the right school and study program for you and match it with available financial aid? That's the job of UK-based Scholar Geek, an interactive website and database that bills itself as the world’s first and only global online search engine for universities and scholarships.

The site offers a personalized matching system. A prospective student enters his or her study goals and academic background and the service connects them with the universities and scholarships around the world which best match their profile and goals. The service's database includes 200,000 programs of study in over 192 countries, including Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia.

"Our goal is to make higher education accessible to everyone no matter where they come from or where they want go," Scholar Geek says on its website.

If you're a student looking to finance your education, Scholar Geek should be your first stop.
